Medals |
|
A medal is representative of a kirnivaal's chosen path. They are specially given out to those who have studied their path well, and it is a mark of pride. There are several guilds a kirnivaal may join to pick their path, however a kirnivaal is not required to join a guild.
- The Order of Light: this guild is made up of scholars and mages who dedicate themselves to the pursuit of knowledge; the guild is located in the Tower of Tears on Apson II, one of Apsis Major's moons
- The Alchemists' Circle: this is a guild of inventors and alchemists who create potions and useful contraptions, as well as craft raw materials for artisans; the guild is located in the Tower of Tears on Apson II, one of Apsis Major's moons
- The Artisanos: this guild is made up of artisians including jewelry makers, blacksmiths, leather makers, tailors, musicians, and various other crafts workers; this guild is located in the Marketplace on Apsis Major
- The Nightwalkers: this guild is comprised of those trained in the art of stealth such as thieves, pirates, smugglers, adventurers, and any needed for unsavory jobs; the location of this guild is only known to members
- The High Guard: this guild is made up of warriors who keep the peace, tasked with protecting Apsis Major and its moons from any threat; this guild is located on Apsis Major, yet has bases on both Apson I and Apson II; the Companions are the head of the guild, and they reside in the base on Apson I

Gear |
|
Advanced GearAt this stage, a kirnivaal has much more complex gear. As their abilities are higher, they often carry enchanted items to increase strength, magic, and other attributes. Items can include hats, multiple pouches/bags, belts, cloaks, and other accessories such as scrolls, bottles, and other items that would help them on their chosen path. A kirnivaal will also recieve a medal around this level.
|
Master GearA kirnivaal at this level has mastered their chosen path. They are gifted with special items from the elders for this honor. These items include armor, robes, bracers, intricate leather workings, weapons (swords and staves), and special enchanted items. Very few reach this level, and it often takes centuries for a kirnivaal to achieve this.

Legendary GearCertain artifacts exist that are important to the kirnivaals. Some have been lost, others recovered and preserved, and some still have found their way into the hands of those worthy (or not). Legendary items include items that belonged to the Vaalor, blessed artifacts, and even cursed ones. These items were made by Vaa and Beliah, and can be cataclysmic in the wrong hands. Few exist, and even fewer have been found.
